Hi everyone! I’m continuing on with embroidery tutorials and this week I’m focusing on quick simple ways to improve your embroidery. I’ve learned a lot of these lessons the hard way, so I hope this helps you and you can use this as a resource so you don’t have to go through the same frustrations!

This tutorial will show you all the supplies you need and a simple embroidery stitch that looks great to stitch quotes or embroider words onto any article of clothing.

I’ve created a PDF of all of the stitches you need to start out to create beautful hand embroidery work! It doesn’t take much to make a piece that looks beautiful, in fact you don’t even need to incorporate all of the stitches I’m about to show you. Even a simple back stitch for the outline of a piece looks amazing! To show you, the embroidery I made below only uses four basic stitches, all of which I’m going to show you today.
