Mixed Media Embroidery Project and Class
I’ve created a free class on how to mix watercolor painting and hand embroidery together to make this sunset mountain landscape. This class will walk you through each step of the painting process and stitch process. I’ve created a PDF of the stencil you can use and it also lists all the embroidery colors you’ll need.

Embroidery and Watercolor Supplies You’ll Need:
- Embroidery Needle
- 4 inch and 5 inch Embroidery Hoop
- Cotton Canvas Fabric
- Embroidery Floss
- Watercolor Palette (Linked is the one that I used which is a pocket palette that comes with a paint brush and you can use the lid to mix the watercolors!)
Download the stencil above and gather your supplies. Then let’s get stitching!
