A lot of you loved the free sewing projects that I’ve rounded up, so I figured I’d do another round-up with some summer sewing projects! I can’t wait to dive into these patterns and try them out. This summer is a little different in that we are in the midst of a pandemic, so I know people are trying not to go out too much or spend too much money. What better way to pass the time than make some new clothes! All of these free sewing patterns look so fun and stylish, and are sure to keep you busy and cool once you’re able to wear them!
Summer Sewing Projects
1. Ruffle Tank Top
I’m all about the ruffle in this cute tank top called the Peplum Top! It’s available for download at Peppermint Magazine
3. Minimalist Tank Top
This beginner-friendly scoop neck tank top is very minimal and cute and is available for download at AllFreeSewing It only takes about an hour to complete!
3. Gathered Shorts
If you’re anything like me, I tend to wear a lot of gym shorts and leggings now that I’ve been at home most of the time…these gathered shorts are SO cute and stylish and don’t sacrifice being comfy! I could definitely see myself wearing these to death. This is a DIY project that’s available at The Essentials Club.
4. DIY Tank Top
I really enjoy Farmhouse On Boone tutorials because they’re very clear and easy to follow. This project doesn’t come with a pattern, but Lisa shows you how you can make a template off of one of your favorite tank tops to get started. It also comes with a video tutorial which I’m sure you’ll find really helpful!
5. V-Neck Buttoned Dress
Okay, last but not least, I think this is the pattern I’m most excited about! It looks so cute with the patterned fabric. I’ve been more into more muted and plain fabric when I sew, but I kind of want to try a similar fabric for this one! This pattern is downloadable at Miscelanea DIY. The pattern is in Spanish, but there is also a video with subtitles available that you can follow along with!
I hope you enjoyed this roundup! I’m excited to try these patterns with you all!
